Buyer checklist for crystalline D-allulose: specification, documents, labeling and delivery.

1. Assay and mesh

Ask for D-allulose assay, commonly >= 99.0%, with 60-80 mesh stated on the specification. Confirm moisture and loss on drying.

2. Handling and cost

Allulose is hygroscopic: require sealed bags and reseal after sampling. Price bulk, browning and freezing-point behaviour in the actual formula; blends may pair allulose with monk fruit or stevia Reb M.

3. US labeling

Current FDA treatment excludes allulose from total and added sugars, keeps it in total carbohydrate, and uses 0.4 kcal per gram. Confirm the rule before artwork.

4. Documents

  • Lot-specific COA: assay, moisture, ash, metals and microbes
  • SDS, technical sheet, allergen/GMO statements
  • Traceability and claimed Kosher/Halal certificates

5. US stock and PO

Ask location, MOQ and lead time. Zenith stock is in Ronkonkoma, New York; standard powder is typically 25 kg MOQ and stocked lines ship in 3-7 business days after cleared order. Lock assay, mesh, documents, labeling review, stock location, MOQ, lead times and sample approval.
